Hallo from Frankfurt!
Well, the day has arrived! Here we are in Frankfurt - jetlagged, caffeinated, and thrilled!
The scope of PLS is nearly unimaginable. It is the largest trade show of its kind on the planet. It draws thousands if people, many of whom are noisy musicians. It is VERY loud here!
The BEHRINGER booth is all set up and loaded with gear and demos - and it's a hit! As anyone in business will tell you the three most important factors in success are: location, location, location! And we got the best one!
Upon entering the PLS hall, BEHRINGER's booth is the first from the door, fronted, of course, by our stage and primo BEHRINGER gear. It's impossible to miss, and filled to the brim with our dizzying product array of mixers, live sound amplification, microphones, amplifiers, and electric pianos. We're drawing particular focus to our "20@20," our 20 hottest new products.
Our booth is, of course, lined with smiles and BEHRINGER gear, both bright and shined to perfection.
On the BEHRINGER stage, Pop trio "small is beautiful" drew an enthusiastic throng of listeners with their subtle latin rhythms and elegant vocal harmonies. Their acoustic beauty was rendered in angelic clarity thanks to a full backline of BEHRINGER gear including the XENYX XL2400 and the EUROLIVE B415DSP's. This 3-piece band worked a rare magic - they were able to attract the attention of busy dealers, sales teams, and the like, and take them someplace peaceful. "small is beautiful" offers a welcome oasis of tranquility in the hectic bustle of the world's largest, loudest music trade show.
We like to keep it cozy here in the BEHRINGER booth, and all guests are welcome to our spacious, welcoming, home-away-from-home. And we've got coffee - a full, complimentary coffee bar; and with all there is to see and do at PLS, everyone needs a little java fix!
Drawing particular attention all day long has been a live demo of energyXT from the engineer of the software himself!
Finally - Mr. Behringer himself drew considerable attention to our booth on the EUROGRAND stage, serenading passers-by with nimble jazz melodies as well as some rowdy blues tunes. It was fun to watch the reactions from the crowd - some were quite struck when they realized it was Uli Behringer himself, comfortably seated at his namesake product, humbly enjoying his passion for melody.
